Message from the Founding Partner

Welcome to Sullivan & Company. We have marked our 35th anniversary, reached 70+ CPAs and professionals on our staff, and settled into our contemporary office space in the Foundry complex. We take great pride in our firm’s growth and accomplishments.
I remember just starting out; I was determined to build a firm that would not only provide valuable accounting services but also was instrumental in their business success. My passion has always been client service … listening to clients to uncover their greatest challenges and then responding to meet those needs. When it is all said and done, there is nothing more important than excellent client service.
Of course, building a firm dedicated to client service is contingent on the professionals who work here. Our strength comes from within. My philosophy remains that we must foster an environment that allows people to grow both professionally and personally. I am deeply gratified by our staff retention rates. For our firm and our clients, that means unmatched stability of work teams. It is not unusual for us to have both employees and clients with whom we have worked for more than twenty years.
The world of accounting has become exceedingly sophisticated, both in terms of requirements on the accounting and tax side as well as requirements in the regulatory arena. Our 2006 merger with Syner, Cavallaro and Cabral certainly strengthened our team of talented professionals and, in particular, expanded our capabilities in the area of international tax and with publicly held companies.
Over the years, we’ve been through many peer reviews and I am always particularly heartened by the superlative comments from our peers. We set the bar very high and we always surpass their expectations.
Moving forward, our vision continues: Sullivan & Company is committed to providing outstanding service for clients and an unparalleled working environment for our employees. If you have feedback, questions or comments, I invite you to contact me directly at tsullivan@sullivancpa.com.
