Not-for-Profit

Sullivan & Company provides accounting and auditing, tax and consultation services to a wide variety of not-for-profit organizations spanning mental health and substance abuse to day-care and head-start programs to organizations for the elderly and disabled. We work for causes that provide resources for the homeless, for women and for inner city youth.

We know that not-for-profit organizations strive for stability, growth and continuous service to both the community and the organization’s members.  These organizations have unique financial needs, and Sullivan & Company has developed a team of professionals who understand those needs and are dedicated to their individual missions and goals.

We help our clients comply with all the requirements placed upon them by donors, funding sources, lenders, and federal, state and local regulatory agencies.  We understand that these institutions must maximize revenue and minimize administrative costs in order to channel the available resources to their mission and programs.

We are proud to have assisted not-for-profit clients that are major and influential citizens of the communities they serve. In fact, our commitment to not-for-profits extends beyond the office with several members of our leadership team active on boards of groups such as the Rhode Island Parent Information Network, the Rhode Island Hospital, the Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra & Music School, the Rhode Island Foundation and the Rhode Island Public Expenditure Council.
