Louis J. Simon, CPA, MST
Louis Simon works with clients in multiple industries, including real estate, manufacturing and distribution. He manages the engagements and coordinates the workflow on both audit and tax engagements. He is known for his warm personal style and strong client relationships that ultimately result in meeting not only their immediate needs but also their long-term financial goals.
Lou is involved in many of the internal programs and committees at the firm, spearheading its intern program, developing and presenting the firm’s largest CPE program each year, and, some years ago, selecting the critical internal software that benefits both the firm and its clients.
Active in the community, Lou is a member of the boards of the March of Dimes/Rhode Island Chapter, the Rhode Island Parent Information Network, and the Coventry Cal Ripken Youth Baseball League. He is deeply involved in the West Bay Collaborative’s Transition Academy where he leads the firm’s volunteer effort to provide financial literacy training for special needs students. In fact, he recently accepted an award for his efforts - and those of the firm -- at the organization’s graduation ceremonies.
He was honored in 2011 as a winner of the Forty Under Forty contest sponsored by Providence Business News, based on his professional accomplishments, his contributions to the workplace, and his volunteer efforts that have made a difference in the community.
Lou received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Master of Science in Taxation, both from Bryant University. He is a certified public accountant and a member of the Rhode Island Society of Certified Public Accountants and its Audit and Accounting Committee. Contact Lou directly at lsimon@SullivanCPA.com.
