Michael L. Hanna, CPA,
Principal

Michael Hanna is known for his big-picture perspective, sound business judgment and hands-on solutions. He has developed a particular expertise in business mergers and acquisitions and has been on the frontlines of several significant deals. He works closely with clients in real estate and construction as well as manufacturing and distributorships. He often serves as the firm’s liaison with lending institutions, providing strategic counsel and planning, financial analyses and projections for clients.

He has been active at the Rhode Island Builders Association and continues to serve as part of an initiative implementing the voter-approved bond referendum of $50 million dollars for affordable housing in the state.

Mike is a Trustee for Rhode Island Hospital and serves on several related committees including the Lifespan Finance Committee, the Rhode Island Hospital Operational Committee, and the Lifespan Real Estate Committee. In 2009, he co-chaired the inaugural President’s Pursuit of Excellence dinner which raised over $250,000 to reinforce research and operations at the hospital.

Mike graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and currently serves on the URI Advisory Board for the School of Business Administration where he provides a tested business perspective on curriculum, job placement, internships and fundraising. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Rhode Island Society of Certified Public Accountants.
