Michael Hanna is known for his big-picture perspective, sound business judgment and hands-on solutions. He has developed a particular expertise in business mergers and acquisitions and has been on the frontlines of several significant deals. He works closely with clients in real estate and construction as well as manufacturing and distributorships. He often serves as the firm’s liaison with lending institutions, providing strategic counsel and planning, financial analyses and projections for clients.

Mike is a member of the Board of Trustees for Lifespan and, in that capacity, serves on the Finance, Audit & Compliance, and Properties & Facilities committees. He was originally appointed to the Board of Trustees for Rhode Island Hospital and The Miriam Hospital in 2007 and served as its Treasurer for several years. In 2009, he co-chaired the inaugural President’s Pursuit of Excellence dinner which raised over $250,000 to reinforce research and operations at the hospital.

He was active at the Rhode Island Builders Association and served as part of a successful initiative implementing the voter-approved bond referendum of $50 million dollars for affordable housing in the state.

Mike graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and currently serves on the URI Advisory Board for the School of Business Administration where he provides a tested business perspective on curriculum, job placement, internships and fundraising. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Rhode Island Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mike serves on the North America Board of Directors of CPA Associates International Inc., a highly selective association of independent accounting firms.
