Timothy Sullivan is the founder and managing principal of Sullivan & Company. With more than three decades of experience in public accounting, Tim provides vital tax and consulting advice to help firm clients grow and prosper. Tim consistently unites his expertise and best practices in accounting and finance with the best interests of his clients at all levels.

As head of the firm’s health care department, he has been instrumental in the development and operations of numerous health care and health care-related organizations throughout the state, frequently working directly on his clients’ behalf with the Rhode Island Department of Health and Department of Human Services.

A graduate of the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Tim holds a Master’s degree in Taxation from Bentley College. He was named accountant of the year in 1994 by the Department of Accounting at the University of Rhode Island. He also received the prestigious Ram Award for his dedication to the Alumni Association and the University for more than 25 years. He currently serves as a trustee of the University of Rhode Island Foundation.

He is a trustee of the Rhode Island Public Expenditure Council and the former chair of the Rhode Island Board of Accountancy.
